Transport & Parking

Our exclusive event packages include use of a 12-passenger van and driver for pick up and drop off of all guests at local area hotels. The venue includes ample guest parking, front entry drop off and separate vendor drop zones.

Create ambiance with custom lighting and audio-visuals. Whether or not you are working with a pro, you'll get free wi-fi and use of speakers and wireless microphones during your event. Mounted flat screen TVs in the BARbership Lounge are available to loop videos and special photos.

The Great Room

The first thing you are likely to notice about the Great Room is the vaulted ceiling with a center cedar beam. The center beam is accented with chandeliers for elegant evening lighting however the Great Room has full-length windows that over-look the rolling and lush Iowa landscape and allow generous natural light for daytime events. With a dining capacity of 120 guests the Great Room has an ease of access via an open stairwell leading to the BARbershop Lounge below.

Emily's Patio & Pergola

Emily’s Patio is a beautiful outdoor space in a serene and idyllic setting complete with waterfall, porch swings, gliders, and spool tables. The hard-surface, sun dappled patio is surrounded by lush greenery and a year-round floral landscape. It is easily converted to accommodate your outdoor wedding ceremony for up to 225 guests. Because of the eastern exposure it is ideal for an early morning wedding or provides excellent coverage for an afternoon summer wedding. The patio is connected to an upper deck via staircase and both spaces can be utilized to provide an expansive space for mingling, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

Barbershop Lounge

The Barbershop Lounge was inspired by the generations of barbers in the owner’s lineage. Paying homage to these great men the Barbershop Lounge is rustic and industrial with polished concrete floors, wood beams, posts, repurposed furnishings and a full bar. This space can be used for dining for up to 80 guests, or as a cocktail party space. Additional space can be added by opening up to Emily’s Patio.

Carl’s Cabin is a rustic cabin that has a full bath, kitchenette, deck and a patio with fire pit. The cabin accommodates up to six guests with parking for three 2 cars.
