We are thrilled to have Iowa Chef of the Year Aaron Holt of Catering by Doolittle Farm provide the exquisite dinner for our 'Death and Diamonds' event. Chef Holt’s passion for farm-to-table dining is deeply rooted in his family’s history. In 2018, he took over the Doolittle Farm, a 61-acre Iowa Century Farm established in 1905 by his great-grandparents, William and May Doolittle. Committed to restoring the farm to its former glory, Chef Holt practices regenerative agriculture, ensuring a sustainable future while growing produce that directly supports his chef career. With his vision of offering authentic, locally sourced culinary experiences, Chef Holt brings the heart of Iowa’s finest ingredients from his century farm to your table, creating a meal as memorable as the mystery unfolding around you.

The Newton Community Theatre will host an unforgettable evening of intrigue and suspense with the Death & Diamonds Immersive Murder Mystery, styled after the hit show Bridgerton. You will be transported into the world of high society, where elegance and deception collide in a thrilling whodunit. As secrets unravel, attendees will mingle with characters from the storyline and gather clues to solve the mystery behind the glittering facade. With lavish costumes, captivating performances, and an air of sophistication, Death & Diamonds promises to be a spectacular night of entertainment for all who dare to attend.

Play the game of fire and ice.... each box contains a diamond, but which one is an ACTUAL diamond from The Jeweler's Bench? Donate $20 for a chance to uncover a diamond valued at over $700. Only 50 boxes are available in this exciting interactive game. 100% of your donation goes to Discover Hope 517, compliments of The Jeweler's Bench located in downtown Newton.
