That’s why Alta House Event Center offers our exclusive Wedding Weekend Package. From 12:00 p.m. Friday through 12:00 p.m. Sunday Alta House is ALL yours.
Try to imagine having the luxury of arriving on a Friday, unpacking your bags in the beautiful Bridal Salon apartment, and your partner doing the same in the Carl’s Cabin. Then… take a deep breath and relax. Time is on your side. Maybe you need additional time preparing for your rehearsal with your bridal party or decorating the venue for your wedding and reception. No rushing in and out for rehearsal time. You can cater your rehearsal dinner down in the Barbershop lounge and enjoy a nice evening with your friends and family before heading back to the Bridal Salon apartment and turning in. It’s important to note that there is room in the apartment for your bridal party to sleepover too. So you can get your beauty sleep, or stay up with your crew, a bowl of popcorn, and your favorite chick flick. Meanwhile, your Fiancé and crew can hang out in the Deluxe Cabin, where they can sit out on the patio and enjoy a fire in the fresh air environment of the adjacent campground.
Saturday morning, wake up and prepare for the day ahead. Have a quiet cup of coffee in the garden. Maybe you need to finish some last-minute decorating or manage vendors from the comfort of the Bridal Salon. You have ALL DAY. You can enjoy the adjacent Newton/Des Moines West KOA campground, which has a pool, playground, game room, pond, and plenty of hiking trails to enjoy. But don’t lose track of time and forget when your Glam Squad arrives. It’s getting close to that moment you’ve been waiting for. But do you need to stress? No. Because you don’t have to go anywhere. Just relax at Alta House and let them come to you.
Let’s get you to the “I Do” part! It’s time for the magic now… you’re wedding. The day you’ve been dreaming about is coming true. Maybe you’re getting married in Emily’s Patio, or maybe in the Great Room. Every space in Alta House is as beautiful and elegant as the next. But it’s time to look into your partner’s eyes, proclaim your love in front of your family and friends. You’re married!
What happens next? Don’t you worry about it! You get to bask in the joy. Fully experience each special moment from the toasts, to the dance, to the cake cutting. Just eat, drink, dance and love. Whatever your reception looks like to you, we are going to do our very best to help it go off without a hitch. And, if a hitch does occur, your Alta House representative is on-site to manage the situation. You just get to enjoy the best party you’ll ever attend.
After the reception ends and the music stops, you don’t have to worry about packing everything up and getting out before midnight because you’re our guest! You can clean up if you wish, or you and your new spouse can retire back to the Bridal Salon and enjoy a peaceful, quiet, and romantic night together. You’ll have plenty of time tomorrow to make sure everything is packed up and out.
In the morning, get up and be on your way to your honeymoon OR have your closest family and friends back for a catered brunch to be enjoyed while you open your wedding gifts. You have until 2:00 p.m. to be on your way.
Can you imagine that? No one telling you that you have to be in and out by a certain time, no lightning fast and uncomfortable rehearsal that has to be done in 90 minutes before rushing off to a local restaurant for your rehearsal dinner. No one pushing you out the door the night of your wedding. Yes, the party must end by 11:00 p.m., but you and your partner don’t have to go anywhere!
That’s what we think your wedding weekend might look like. But the good news is… it’s YOUR weekend. You can do it whatever way you like!
